I'm Jo - I've shot enough weddings to always be on the lookout for your irreplaceable moments before they happen. I'll tell you your Nana's lipstick is still on your cheek and make sure you're both having a ball. Because thats what its all about!

You can expect to feel relaxed and joyful as you soak in your day. I'll never get in the way of that - in fact, I'll be encouraging you to have lots of 'pinch me' moments. I have a quick and efficient way of getting photos done so you can get back to your amazing celebration.

2. secure your date
I only take on a limited number of weddings each year because I'm only one person. So get in quickly if you know your date. Once your $500 deposit is made, you now own the date. You can change the package you choose at any stage - the important part is just booking the date!
it's getting closer!
You'll receive lots of information from me before your date so you know exactly what to expect on the day. I'll devise a custom timeline for your photography to make sure everything you both want is included.
4. WEdding day!
Yes your day is finally here! It'll go without a hitch (ha ha) and you'll have the time of your lives! I get busy after the wedding day, backing up and hand editing your precious memories. I require 6 weeks to edit your images, but the very next day you'll receive decent sneak peek for socials.
5. your gallery
Gallery Day is pretty exciting round here! I'll send you a text to let you know your gallery is on its way. It's a downloadable, shareable gallery that you'll love to show off. You'll also receive a slideshow to music so you can crack the champagne and relive the memories. If you included an album, you'll receive the first few steps to design your masterpiece.

I team up with some of Melbourne's best videographers, and take the hassle out of choosing two different vendors. This is an amazing option for couples who want both but are worried about going with two separate companies. I guarantee we are both best in our field, and you won't have the stress of a large company with lots of different staff. Most of my clients invest around $4000 in a videography package with all the trimmings and I organise it all for you! Price points vary so just get in touch and we can work with your budget.

Common FAQs
Q: How long have you been a photographer?
A: I learnt photography on film while I was studying Photojournalism at RMIT in the nineties. I love seeing the industry evolve and its safe to say I have evolved too. I still have a love for film, particularly black and white.
Q: what is your style?
A: Vibrant, editorial (what you would see in a magazine), candid. I love movement and expression in my images. I also capture lots of detail photos - that's the rings, dress, flowers etc My images are feminine, fun, natural and not stiff at all. I can show you a gallery or two if you would like to see a whole wedding.
Q: Do I need a second photographer?
A: A second photographer means more awesome photos to look back on. It's especially convenient if the getting ready locations are far apart, there are over 100 guests, or you would like alternating angles of your ceremony etc.
Q: Do I need an engagement session?
A: I'm a little biased but yes, you'll love it. You can use the photos for your save-the-dates, invitations, website registries, seating charts, guest books, framed prints for your guest table, bar, and your house... and of course Facebook & Instagram! Plus, it's a way for you to get a little practice in front of the camera before your big day and it gives us an opportunity to get to know each other. :) Also, what a great date day. Have a hair and make up trial, get dressed up, have a ball creating images you'll love then top it off with a swanky dinner somewhere.
Q: Are you inclusive?
A: ALL couples are safe, welcome and hey I'm cheering for you all the way! Not just my LGBTQIA+ friends, but all groups need understanding vendors. A special shout out to my future clients who have disabilities, cultural and religious diversities, body diversity including plus size (photographing all women is my passion project) ethnic diversity, First Nations peoples and my older clients - come on down and lets make something amazing.
Q: Do you offer any albums, prints, canvases, guest books, etc?
A: Totally! I offer all the print products you'd expect, as well as beautiful lay flat albums that will stand the test of time and become a treasured part of your wedding experience.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes, I do! Traditional payments are $500 due at the time of booking (within a week) and the final balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding day. But, if you wanted to do the payment plan, I can stretch it into equal 1/3's or 1/4's if that works best for you. Just let me know what you prefer, and I will make it happen. It's that easy and totally free.
Q: what happens if you aren't able to make it to our big day?
In the super unlikely event that I am too ill, injured, or there's some other emergency, either I or my husband make contact with our business groups to source a replacement. That said, in the years I've been doing this, I have never even been 60 seconds late. You're in good hands. I promise.
Q: How do I book you for my wedding day?

You will receive high-resolution digital photographs that are yours to print and use however you wish. You receive a personal-use print release, and my experience and talent to help ensure everything is both super fun & super smooth along the way. And if you want heirloom artwork or additional portrait sessions, it's all there for you, too!
